Home gyms appear to be here to stay for the foreseeable future. Not only are they convenient to have inside your home (no commuting or gym time signups!) but they also allow you to get creative with your workouts. You also have the option to get creative with how you organize gym supplies.

Add a Towel Bar

Putting a towel bar up on the wall allows you to hang various gym accessories such as resistance bands and TRX bands. Towel bars are easy to come by and inexpensive which make them the perfect DIY addition to your space!

Open Shelving

Placing open shelving units in your home gym is the perfect way to store weights and exercise balls. It keeps items neatly tucked away while also visible and easily accessible...no more excuses of having to go digging through a bin to find those weights!

Mat Rack/Holder

Similar to a towel holder or a wine rack, put one of these on the wall of your gym area to hold your exercise mats and foam rollers. The more items you can keep off the ground, the more space you will have to do various exercises in your home gym.

Add a Peg Board

A peg board is great to organize different items all in the same place. Add a hook to hold towels or resistance bands, put up some posters, or easily add a white board to keep track of your workout plan.

If you’ve stored away your exercise items for the winter because of the cold, it’s time to take them back out! Which of these home gym organizational tips helped the most?
